Categories of Personal Information We Collect

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

• Identifiers. Name, phone number, email address, and property address, in every case only when you give them to us on a form, by phone, or by email.
• Commercial information. Services you requested, estimates provided, and work performed.
• Internet or network activity. Pages viewed on our website, how long you stayed, the referring website or campaign, browser and device type, and a randomly generated analytics identifier stored in your browser.
• Visual information. Photographs of your roof or property that you send us, or that we take during an inspection or a job.
• Country. A two-letter country code derived from your IP address.

We do not store IP addresses. The embedded content providers described in our Privacy Policy receive your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering their content to your browser. We do not collect precise geolocation, and we do not collect city-level or street-level location from your browser. We do not collect sensitive personal information as California law defines it, and we do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or biometric data through this website.

Apart from the internet activity, country, and analytics identifier described above, we collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us.

Sources of Personal Information

We collect personal information directly from you when you fill out a form on our website, call us, text us, or email us. We collect internet activity information automatically through our website analytics provider when you visit the site.

Why We Collect It

We use personal information to provide roofing services, respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, schedule and perform work, invoice and collect payment, communicate with you about your project, understand and improve our website, and keep the records required by our business and our contractor's license.

Selling and Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We have not sold personal information in the past 12 months.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not shared personal information for that purpose in the past 12 months.

We do not have actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Disclosures to Service Providers

We disclose personal information to service providers for business purposes only, under contracts that require them to use it solely to perform services for us. Those categories are:

• Website hosting and content delivery
• Form delivery and email
• Website analytics
• Embedded content providers (customer reviews feed and Instagram photo feed)

Our analytics provider is contractually bound as a service provider under the CCPA. It is prohibited from selling or sharing the information, from retaining or using it for any purpose other than providing analytics to us, and from combining it with information it receives from other sources.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no further action is required, but we honor the signal.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not collect sensitive personal information, so the opt-out and limitation rights do not currently apply to anything we hold. The remaining rights apply in full.

We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and take no more than an additional 45 days.

Before we act on a request to know, correct, or delete, we need to verify that you are the person the information belongs to. We do that by matching the information in your request against what we already hold, such as the phone number or property address on your quote request or job file. We will not ask you for more information than we need to verify you.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for written permission signed by you, and we may still ask you to verify your own identity directly.

Non-Discrimination

We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this California Privacy Policy as our business or the law changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
